Giedre Tabocchini is a Lithuanian pianist who has been living in Finland since 2008. She graduated from the Siauliai Conservatory (Lithuania) in 2004 as a pianist and teacher. She then continued her studies at the Lithuanian Music and Theatre Academy, where she earned her BA in piano performance (2009). Being a mother influenced Giedre’s decision to concentrate on young age children and their musical education. In 2016 she has established her own music studio, offering group music and piano classes. She coordinates and teaches PlaySchool SMILE at the International School of Music Finland, and her aim is to transmit passion and love for music among the youngest part of society. Giedre belief is that every child is able to sing, feel and understand rhythm and music.
