Anna Záborszky-Teppo was born into a musical family in Budapest, Hungary in 1989. She began her cello studies at the age of three with her father István Záborszky. Anna continued her studies with Prof. Martti Rousi at the Sibelius Academy in Finland, where she completed a Masters Degree in cello with excellent grades. She also studied at the Sarah and Ernest Butler School of Music at the University of Texas with Prof. Bion Tsang in 2012-2013. After completing an additional pedagogical degree at the Sibelius Academy, she finished all her studies for her Masters Degree in May 2016.

Anna currently works as a freelance musician and teacher at the German Music School, Meri-Helsinki Music School and at the International School of Music Finland in Helsinki. As a cello teacher she has also worked in Pohjois-Helsingin Musiikkiopisto and Keskisen Uudenmaan Musiikkiopisto in Finland.

Anna has successfully taken part in different national and international cello competitions (e.g the International Dotzauer Cello Competition in Dresden, National Turku Cello Competition, National Melartin Chamber Music Competition). She has also performed as a soloist with various orchestras, e.g. Joensuu City Orchestra, Hämeenlinna city orchestra and Zugló Philharmonics Budapest.

As an active concert performer, Anna has performed concerts in Finland, Hungary, Estonia, Germany, Switzerland and in the USA. She has taken part in Turku Music Festival, Naantali Music Festival and CelloFest in Helsinki, Finland. As a chamber musician, Anna is a member of both Duo JohAnnas and Záborszky Sisters.
