Ruth Esther Blank is a professional singer, musical director and voice therapist from Israel with great experience in working with children and promoting their musical development through songs, dances and musical games. She graduated from the Jerusalem (Rubin) Academy High School of Music and Dance, specializing in singing performance. In Israel she sang in the semi-professional choirs of Tel Aviv Philarmonic Choir and Ramat Gan Chamber Choir. In Finland she has been a member of the Maailman Lapset Lähemmäksi project and has initiated the Interactive International Children’s Music project in Finland, among other projects such as On Hetki, a musical project for health care centers and Around the world in 45 minutes, a musical therapeutic project for people with disabilities. Ruth is currently collaborating with Finnish artists and musicians performing Jewish and folk music. Besides working as PlaySchool music teacher for the International School of Music Finland, Ruth also works with singers and teachers with vocal problems, helping them resolve singing or speaking difficulties.
