Sangeeth Visharadh Upendra Siriwardana is a highly accomplished vocalist and educator with a strong foundation in both classical and contemporary South Asian music. She earned the esteemed title of Sangeeth Visharadh after completing the rigorous Visharad II certification in North Indian Classical Vocal Music from the prestigious Bhatkhande Sangeet Vidyapith in India, graduating with First Division honors. Complementing her classical expertise, Upendra holds a Bachelor of Performing Arts (Special Degree) in Music from the University of the Visual & Performing Arts in Sri Lanka, where she graduated with honours.
With over a decade of performance and teaching experience, Upendra brings a vibrant and student-centered approach to the classroom. She specializes in Bollywood singing and Indian vocal techniques, inspiring students to explore both the rich traditions and modern expressions of Indian music. Her lessons are thoughtfully designed to develop vocal strength, emotional expression, and musical confidence in every learner—whether beginner or advanced.
