Victoria Sergeenko is a professional musician, composer, arranger, performing artist, and music educator with Karelian (Russian) origins. She received her fundamental musical education at the Petrozavodsk State Conservatoire with a Master’s Degree in Composition (studying under professor A. Beloborodov). 

She has actively created music in different genres for over 20 years, including national opera, symphonic, choral and chamber works, music for theatre and film, and music for children. Victoria led the youth composer movement and directed the Young Composer’s Festival “Music – My Soul” in her region. She has earned two prestigious composition awards and an All-Russian professional prize for achievements in musical education. 

Upon moving to Finland in 2012, Victoria Sergeenko joined the Association of Finnish Composers (Suomen Säveltäjät). Besides composing music and teaching, she has projects involving in music recording, web design, publishing, singing with a cappella bands and playing in a jazz big band. Her teaching style can be described as optimistic, playful, and highly motivational.
