Dusica Grbatinić is a musician and music teacher from Serbia. She started playing piano at the age of 7 and quickly decided to focus her studies entirely on music. Along with her interest for classical music, she explored other genres such as pop and rock; while preparing for her music studies at the University of Novi Sad, she started singing and playing popular music in local bands. She earned a masters’ degree  in Music Theory, and for her masters’ final concert she conducted a choir of one hundred students. Dusica also sang in a professional choir in Novi Sad, performing extensively around the country.

Dusica developed her composing skills while working as a composer and musician with an amateur theater in her home town, Sid. After graduation, she devoted herself to education, teaching piano and solfege in a musical elementary school and music education in a public elementary school, working with children and teenagers between 7 and 15 years old. She has experience teaching singing, music play-school and piano in a private music school with a focus on popular music. She is actively performing and making music with bands such as Omppu’s Stomp and Capricorn_one.

Dusica teaches voice and piano at the International School of Music Finland in English and Serbian. To set up a trial lesson with Dusica, please send us a message
